Meet Our Attorneys ADMITTED TO BAR: EDUCATION: BAR ASSOCIATIONS: COMMUNITY SERVICE PRACTICE AREAS: Attorney Jennifer Nassour was born in Flushing, New York and is a native of Garden City, New York. After graduating from high school in 1989, she attended State University of New York at Stony Brook, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 1993. She continued her studies at Long Island University, C.W. Post and received a Masters Degree in Political Science in 1995. From 1993 through 2000, she worked extensively in the public sector. She served as a Legislative Aide in the New York State Senate from 1993 to 1995 and Nassau County Legislature from 1996 to 2000. Though she was working full time, Attorney Nassour enrolled at St. John’s University School of Law, where she graduated with a J.D. in 2000. She relocated to Massachusetts in 2000 and was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 2002. She has worked as a legal assistant to the Worcester County District Attorney as well as Staff Counsel to Massachusetts Representative Gale Candaras and the Director of Personnel in the Massachusetts Governor’s Chief Secretary’s Office. In 2002, she was the Financial Director of the Daniel Grabauskas Campaign for State Treasurer. Attorney Nassour joined Consigli and Brucato, P.C. in 2003 as an Associate. She involved herself in real estate, personal injury, criminal, family and employment law. She has represented clients in the Probate and Family Court, Superior Court, and in the Massachusetts District Courts. In 2005, she became Of Counsel to the firm. Active in public service, Attorney Nassour was appointed in 2006 as a Trustee of Bridgewater State College and a member of the Massachusetts Public Health Council. Though she has been engaged in general practice, she has a strong interest in government relations due to her experience and background in the public sector as well as her work in Massachusetts state government. On January 27, 2009 she was elected to the full-time position of Chairman of the Republican State Committee where she leads a State Committee and professional staff in all aspects of the party's operations including fund raising, party building and communications. She is married and the mother of two daughters. |
